Cabinet Hardware Swap

Knobs, pulls, and cabinet handle swaps in kitchens and bathrooms across the Wasatch Front. One of the highest-ROI cosmetic upgrades we do.

Same-week scheduling · Licensed General Contractor · Fully insured · 1-year labor warranty

A typical kitchen has 20-30 pulls and knobs. Swap them all for modern hardware and the kitchen reads 10 years newer — for under $400 in labor plus whatever you spend on hardware. We do this as a single visit, usually 2-3 hours.

What This Includes

  • Knob replacement (per knob)
  • Pull replacement (per pull)
  • New-hole drilling (when hardware doesn’t match existing)
  • Old-hole filling and refinishing (when downsizing from pulls to knobs)
  • Soft-close hinge upgrade
  • Soft-close drawer slide upgrade
  • Hinge replacement
  • Drawer slide replacement

FAQ

What if the new hardware doesn’t match the existing holes?

We drill new holes carefully (using a template to ensure consistency) for $15 per location. If you’re going from pulls to knobs (or vice versa), we can fill old holes with matching wood filler for $25 each, but it won’t be invisible — best with a paint refresh.

How long does a whole kitchen swap take?

2-3 hours for 20-30 pieces of hardware on existing holes. Add 1-2 hours if we’re drilling new holes.

Should I supply the hardware or should you?

You should — picking your own style is part of the value. We can shop for you at-cost if you’d rather, but most homeowners enjoy the design choice.

Do you do soft-close upgrades while you’re at it?

Yes — soft-close hinge swap is $25 per hinge. Most cabinets need 2 hinges per door. A whole kitchen soft-close upgrade adds $500-$1,000 to a hardware swap visit.
