If your room already has a wired ceiling box, fan install is straightforward. If you’re replacing a light fixture with a fan, we usually need to upgrade the box to a fan-rated box (most existing boxes aren’t rated for the moving weight of a fan). Brand-new circuits or rooms without ceiling wiring require a licensed Utah electrician and are performed by a licensed electrician.
What This Includes
- Standard ceiling fan install (existing fan box)
- Fan swap (remove old, install new)
- Vaulted ceiling fan install (longer downrod)
- Remote-controlled fan setup

- Fan-rated box upgrade (if existing box not rated)
- Damp/wet-rated outdoor fan install (covered porch)
- Ceiling fan removal + cap-off
How Pricing Works

FAQ
Do I need to supply the fan?
Yes by default — pick what you like. We can also shop for a reputable-brand fan at-cost if you’d rather not deal with it. Most builder fans run $150–$350 and ship to your home in 2–3 days.
Will you remove my old fan?
Yes — we haul away the old fan or set it aside for you if you want to keep it. No extra charge.
My ceiling is really tall — can you still install?
Yes — we install on vaulted, sloped, and high ceilings. We bring our own ladders and pole tools. Sloped ceilings sometimes need an angle adapter (we’ll let you know at the walkthrough).
Do I need to upgrade the box?
If your existing junction box was installed for a light fixture, it’s probably not rated for the moving weight of a fan. Fan-rated boxes are required by code and we usually need to swap them. We’ll tell you at the install and quote the upgrade before doing it.
