Door Installation & Repair

Sticking doors, doors that won’t latch, dragging closet doors, broken weatherstripping, and full door swaps. We handle interior and exterior door work across the Wasatch Front.

Same-week scheduling · Licensed General Contractor · Fully insured · 1-year labor warranty

Most door issues are actually frame or hinge issues, not the door itself. We diagnose and fix what’s actually wrong — often a 15-minute adjustment vs. the full door swap a less experienced handyman might quote.

FAQ

My door won’t latch — do I need a new one?

Probably not. Most won’t-latch issues are alignment problems with the strike plate or hinges. We can almost always fix it in 15-30 minutes for $85 instead of replacing the door.

Can you install a door I bought from Home Depot or Lowe’s?

Yes. Pre-hung doors are easier than slab installs. Bring the door, we install it.

What about exterior doors that need weatherproofing?

Included. Every exterior door install includes weatherstripping, sweep, and threshold check. We don’t leave a door that leaks air.

Do you do barn doors or sliding closet doors?

Yes. Barn doors need proper anchoring to studs or blocking — we never use plastic anchors for the rail. Sliding closet doors usually need track adjustment or roller replacement.

Selling Your Home?

Doors that won’t latch or close properly are a top buyer complaint at showings. See GoMarketReady for coordinated pre-listing prep.
