FAQ
My disposal hums but won’t grind. Can you fix it?
Usually yes, most hum-only disposals are jammed. We clear the jam and reset, $95. If the motor is shot, that requires replacement.
What size do I need, 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP?
For most homes 1/2 HP handles everything. Step up to 3/4 HP if you have heavy use, run garbage through it often, or want quieter operation.
What about the dishwasher hookup?
If your dishwasher drains through the disposal (most do), we connect it as part of the install. Bring it up at scheduling so we have the right knockout plug.
Do you do electrical for the disposal switch?
Yes, switch swap and existing-circuit work is handyman scope. New circuits calls for the licensed Utah electrician on our team and are still one call to us, performed by the licensed Utah electrician on our team.
