What We Handle

HMJ handles outlet/switch replacement, GFCI installation, light fixture and ceiling fan install, smoke/CO detector install, smart thermostat install, wired doorbell install, and low-voltage camera install directly within our handyman scope. EV charger installation, new circuits, panel upgrades, and any work requiring a licensed Utah electrician is still one call to us, performed by the licensed Utah electrician on our team.

How Pricing Works

Outlet or switch swap: starts at $85. GFCI outlet install: starts at $115. Light fixture swap (existing box, homeowner-supplied fixture): starts at $125. Ceiling fan install (existing fan-rated box): starts at $185. Smoke or CO detector install: starts at $95. Combo detector: starts at $115. Smart thermostat install (homeowner-supplied): starts at $165. Wired doorbell install: starts at $145.

Listed prices are starting points. Actual quote depends on scope, materials, access, and site conditions.

Prices assume items completed together in a single visit. A $95 minimum applies per visit and is credited toward your total on jobs over $250. We always confirm the final price before any work begins.
